I love to crochet and after recently seeing a black and white granny square I couldn’t help but think that it looked a bit like a QR code.

QR codes have been crocheted or knitted before but what I want to do is to turn a crochet QR code into a wearable cardigan.

I’m going to use a pattern based on granny squares but need to get the QR code right. So far I’ve tried intarsia crochet but the code didn’t scan so it’s back to the drawing board trying out a smaller hook or possibly mosaic crochet. Watch this space for progress updates!
